The New York Jets are getting ready to take on the New England Patriots in a game the Jets badly want to win and exorcise the demons of a 14 game losing streak against the Patriots. With weather conditions forecast to be pretty rough in the midst of what should be the remnants of Tropical Storm Ophelia, chances are neither team will be able to mount an effective passing attack. This looks likely to be an old fashioned three yards and a clump of mud ground game slugfest. Let’s hope the troubled Jets offensive line is up to the challenge.
