Jets rookie minicamp took place this weekend. It’s probably a sign of how exciting this minicamp is that so much attention was paid to a social media post by Mekhi Becton saying he wants to play left tackle. There isn’t much going on this time of year so the 24/7 news cycle can’t be fed without overanalyzing something. Despite all of the focus on Becton’s comments, he is likely locked into the right tackle role as it seems unlikely the Jets would ask 38 year old Duane Brown to change positions at this point of his career.
