The first 16 weeks of the NFL season are in the books. On to week 17. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite player prop bets for the Sunday games.
All odds come courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
George Kittle, Over 50.5 receiving yards (-115)
The Washington Commanders pass defense is horrifically bad. George Kittle is having his best season in years. Kittle has gone over 50 receiving yards in 8 of his last 9 games. Against a terrible Commanders pass defense, I’ll take the over for George Kittle and 50.5 receiving yards.
Brock Purdy, Over 1.5 touchdown passes (-215)
Brock Purdy had a nightmare game against the great Baltimore Ravens defense last week, but in five of the six prior games, Purdy had more than one touchdown pass. I expect a big bounce back game for Purdy against the horrific Commanders defense. I’ll take the over for Brock Purdy and 1.5 touchdown passes.
Sam Howell, Under 1.5 touchdown passes (-200)
Sam Howell has been getting worse as the season has gone on. Last week he was destroyed by the Jets’ defense, then benched for ineffective play. I expect a repeat performance against an outstanding 49ers defense. I’ll take the under for Sam Howell and 1.5 touchdown passes.
Sam Howell, Under 235.5 passing yards (-115)
Sam Howell has been under 150 passing yards in each of his last three games. I don’t expect things to get much better against the outstanding 49ers defense. I’ll take the under for Sam Howell and 235.5 passing yards.
Jake Browning, Over 232.5 passing yards (-115)
Jake Browning has gone over 270 passing yards in each of his last four games. I’ll take the over for Jake Browning and 232.5 passing yards.
Rashee Rice, Over 63.5 receiving yards (-115)
Rashee Rice has become the clear WR1 with the Chiefs. Rice has seen 9 or more targets in each of the last five games. He has gone over 63 receiving yards in four of the last five games. I’ll take the over for Rashee Rice and 63.5 receiving yards.
Miami Dolphins vs Baltimore Ravens
Tyreek Hill, Over 93.5 receiving yards (-115)
With Jaylen Waddle ruled out for the game, Tyreek Hill will likely get a ton of targets. Hill has gone over 93 receiving yards in four of his last five games. The Ravens have a great defense, but I’ll take the over for Tyreek Hill and 93.5 receiving yards.
