Jets fans are ready to clean house

Narrow majorities favor firing Robert Saleh and Joe Douglas

NFL: New York Jets at Miami Dolphins Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

It is time for our weekly check in with SB Nation Reacts. Each week we ask Jets fans to fill out a survey answering questions about the team. It wouldn’t make sense to do that and not provide the results. So we give you the results at the end of the week.

Week 15 was not kind to the New York Jets. The team was embarrassed in Miami by the division rival Dolphins. The loss combined with other results across the league officially eliminated the Jets from postseason contention for a 13th consecutive season.

Most positive feelings from the Jets’ upset of the Houston Texans in Week 14 are now gone.

This week we asked Jets fans whether it was a time to change the head coach and the general manager. Most said yes.

These are narrow majorities, not landslide margins. Still you don't get over the 50 percent mark with a content fanbase. Indeed, the overall confidence rating fell back into the teens, where it has been for the bulk of the last two months after a brief spike after the win over Houston.
