Monday Night Football, Week 15. Tonight the Seattle Seahawks host the Philadelphia Eagles at 8:15 pm EST. The Eagles are 3.5 point road favorites against the Seahawks according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

The 6-7 Seattle Seahawks come into this game in full collapse mode. After starting the season 5-2, the Seahawks have lost five of their last six games and four straight. A big part of the Seahawks swoon has been the strength of their recent schedule. In their last six games the Seahawks have faced the Dallas Cowboys, the Baltimore Ravens, and the San Francisco 49ers (twice). Yikes! That’s an impossible schedule. It doesn’t get any easier tonight, as they take on the Eagles, and the Seahawks will probably be missing starting quarterback Geno Smith.

The 10-3 Philadelphia Eagles come into tonight’s game losers of two straight after starting the season 10-1. Like the Seahawks, the Eagles have faced an impossible schedule lately, with games against the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys (twice), Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers included in their last seven games. Unlike the Seahawks, the Eagles have had success in this difficult stretch, winning five of those seven games. Now they get a bit of a breather as they take on a reeling Seahawks team that is missing its starting quarterback.

I’m taking the Eagles to take care of business on the road against a struggling Seahawks team led by their backup quarterback tonight.
