The 3-8 Chicago Bears come into this game off a 31 - 26 loss to the Detroit Lions last week. That game marked the return of Justin Fields to the lineup after missing a month with an injury. With Fields under center the Bears have won just one out of seven games this season.
The 6-5 Minnesota Vikings lost starting quarterback Kirk Cousins to a season ending injury in the eighth game of the season. At that point the Vikings were 4-4 and most assumed they were cooked for the 2023 season. Instead, the Vikings made an immediate trade with the Arizona Cardinals to acquire Joshua Dobbs. Dobbs has led the Vikings to a 2-1 record in Cousins’ absence and the Vikings are very much alive in the NFC playoff race. Now they take on their NFC North rivals, the Chocago Bears, in a game crucial to the Vikings’ post-season plans.
I’m taking the home team Vikings to take care of business at home against a struggling Bears team that just has not won much with Justin Fields under center. The Bears are 1-14 in Fields’ last 15 starts.
I have submitted my pick using the widget from our partners at Tallysight. You can follow all my picks throughout the season, as I prove for another season how I’m not made to be a gambler. Seriously, I cannot stress enough how bad an idea it would be to bet real money based on my picks. Don’t do it. Don’t even consider it. Make your own picks, and good luck. And if you do bet, consider using our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook.
