The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins meet today for the NFL’s first ever Black Friday game. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm Eastern at MetLife Stadium.
Even though this game will take place on Friday afternoon, from broadcasting purposes it is part of Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football package. Thus the game will be shown on Amazon Prime Video. Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will call the game. To stream the game, you will need an Amazon Prime subscription. If you were unaware, yes, the subscription that gets you free two day shipping also includes access to an app with streaming video. You also can sign up for a free 30 day trial to Amazon Prime if you don’t have it.
Fans who don’t have Amazon Prime or a streaming device might be in luck if they live in the New York or Miami areas. The NFL requires all games to be broadcast by an over the air station in the local markets of the teams playing.
