The Jets go for the season sweep on the road against the Bills

Week 11 of the 2023 NFL season has the New York Jets on the road against the Buffalo Bills.

The Jets upset the Bills in the season opener after Aaron Rodgers went down with an achilles tendon injury. The Jets defense forced three Josh Allen interceptions, Zach Wilson and the Jets offense did just enough to force overtime, and Xavier Gipson returned a punt for a touchdown to seal the Jets win.

Since then the Jets have gone 3 - 5, and the offense has been atrocious. The Jets simply can’t score touchdowns, and it’s awfully difficult to win without offensive touchdowns, no matter how well the defense plays.

The Bills come into this game with problems of their own. The Bills have five conference losses, and they have lost four of their last six games. The statistics look great for the Bills, with top 10 units on offense and on defense, but they keep shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers and other miscues. Josh Allen has struggled mightily against the Jets in recent years, giving the Jets some hope the Bills might just self-destruct enough for the Jets to stay in this game.

Both teams need this game badly to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Can Zach Wilson finally lead a touchdown drive? Can Breece Hall break out of his recent funk? Can the Jets defense continue to throttle Josh Allen? Can the Jets actually complete a sweep of their division rival? We’ll find out this afternoon.
