With Aaron Rodgers speculating that he could make a potential return to the field in mid-December or January, Robert Saleh has gone on record as saying he won’t stop the quarterback from playing if he’s deemed healthy and wishes to play - talk about a shocking development. I think it could have gone without saying that the team desperately needs a quarterback at the level of Rodgers heading the team. Despite the other issues surrounding the team, Rodgers comes with a certain level of credibility that would allow the Jets to raise their expectations. On the flip side, if the Jets are out of playoff contention there’s zero chance that fans will see Rodgers play this year - if that’s even a real scenario - regardless.
