New York Jets Flight Connections 11/1/23

Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The trade deadline came and went without New York Jets GM Joe Douglas making a trade. Usually I would not be surprised, but considering both Carl Lawson and Dalvin Cook seemed eager to move on from the Jets, it was surprising to not see at least one of them offloaded to another team. Douglas did, however, sign Rodger Saffold. Saffold is 35 years old, so at this point in his career he’s likely only a backup option. But considering all of the injuries the Jets have had on the offensive line, don’t be surprised to see Saffold get some live reps at some point this season.
