Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. As of today, the New York Jets’ still have cornerbacks Sauce Gardner and DJ Reed in concussion protocol. At this point, there should be a little cause for concern - especially when it comes to Reed. This will mark the fourth week in which Reed is in protocol, which is generally a lot longer than the average time spent for players suffering concussions. At the same time, I hope that Robert Saleh and the coaching staff are just playing it safe considering the talent they have on defense, and the player’s health going forward. In all, at the end of the day, if the Jets are winning games and those players can come back completely healthy, the wait is worth it.
