New York Jets Flight Connections 8/5/22

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Yesterday was the NFL’s Hall of Fame game between the Raiders and the Jaguars. Neither team played many of their starters, though the Raiders did have Josh Jacobs touch the ball nearly ten times. Despite mostly backups playing, the Jaguars did what they do best: lose - and lose big. Considering how bad the team was last season, you would have expected the team to have more starters get reps, even if meant bubble players couldn’t get touches. With how poorly Trevor Lawrence played last season, it’ll be interesting to see if he plays much at all this preseason, too. And, hopefully for Jets fans, Zach Wilson is able to outplay Lawrence once again and put the debate between them to the side. With the two teams playing each other this season, we’ll get to see the matchup first hand. Let’s hope it leads to a Jets victory. With that, here are your links to the team to start your morning.
