New York Jets Flight Connections 7/29/22

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The Jets added Kwon Alexander to their linebacking group yesterday, in a signing most Jets fans were hoping would happen. While the signing of Alexander is exciting, fans should temper their expectations. Yes, he is familiar with the system that Saleh is going to run. With that said, Alexander hasn’t played more than 12 games in a season since 2016. Health will be the biggest concern going forward, and a rightful concern at that. However, the Jets need depth and players at the position badly. Linebacker is easily the team’s worst position group going into the season, so seeing a veteran like Alexander sign with the team at least gives hope that he could potentially return to form. He’s still under 30 years of age and if healthy, could be an impact player for the team. Let’s hope that happens. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start your morning.
