Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. While the Jets have a lot of needs on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, NY Post’s Brian Costello believes that the interior defensive line won’t be a high priority for the Jets. While I agree with that assessment, the team needs to see major improvements on that side of the ball. One of the biggest reasons the team’s secondary struggled in the 2021-22 season was the lack of pressure, and inability to stop the run. This just allowed teams to essentially do whatever they wanted on offense, with little the Jets could do to stop nearly anyone. It’s a group that needs to improve, and improve quickly if the Jets want to have success going into this season. With Robert Saleh at the helm, I expect improvements, but we shall see. Let’s hope it all works out for the team in the end. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start your morning.
