New York Jets Flight Connections 3/31/22

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day! We’re getting closer to the start of the NFL draft, and the Jets are one of a few teams with a lot of firepower going into the event. With plenty of ‘premium’ picks, it’s up to Joe Douglas to make the right moves to help this Jets team take the next step forward. We as fans have seen in the past a myriad of issues in drafts and the fits of players being drafted to the specific head coach at the time; only to find that player falter when the inevitable occurred - as in a coaching change. Hopefully drafting players solely based on scheme doesn’t become a huge occurrence, only because top-level players shouldn’t need a specific scheme for them to be premier players. While that logic seems sound, it also isn’t always the case, causing a lot of variables to occur when selecting players. Let’s hope JD and the Jets get it right.
