Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. One of the major talking points prior to the start of the season was about second-year receiver, Denzel Mims. In very limited action, Mims showed some promise in his rookie season. But a bout of food poisoning and injuries in camp slowed down what most deemed to be his ‘breakout’ season. If you read the tea leaves however, it seems like one of the main reasons for Mims’ benching is due to his effort in practice, and understanding of the offense. To be fair, that’s a questionable answer given to people wondering why Mims isn’t there. Mims was never going to be a slot receiver, so why force him to learn a position he wouldn’t excel at even if he knew it? While I have hope for this staff, there are some smoke signals for concern. Hopefully those worries are washed away with time. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start your morning.
