Sunday Night Football, Week 2. Tonight the Baltimore Ravens host the Kansas City Chiefs in a game some might have predicted to be a preview of the 2021 AFC Championship Game. For any Jets fans who want to see what real NFL football looks like, this game might fit the bill.
The Ravens come into this game off a tough overtime loss to the Las Vegas Raiders last week. The Ravens are all banged up, down to other teams’ rejects at running back and also without the services of star offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley. It will be a tall order for Lamar Jackson to keep the Ravens’ offense humming tonight enough to keep up with the Chiefs’ high octane offense.
The Chiefs come into the game tonight fresh off a comeback win over a tough and talented Cleveland Browns team. The Chiefs are likely to rely as usual on the golden arm of Patrick Mahomes to carry them to victory. A win tonight will allow the Chiefs to keep pace with a surprisingly competitive field in the AFC West, where the entire division has yielded just one loss thus far in the 2021 season.
It’s the Ravens and the Chiefs in an AFC showdown on Sunday Night Football.
Enjoy the game everybody.
