Podcast: Jets-Patriots Talk With Mike D’Abate

Today’s podcast is a Crossover Thursday show with Mike D’Abate, the host of Locked on Patriots.

We discuss the Jets’ home opener this Sunday against New England. Both teams have a rookie quarterback making their second start. Both teams are trying to avoid an 0-2 open to the 2021 season.

I hope it comes through how much I enjoy chatting with Mike. I have gotten to know him on our various crossover shows over the last few years. He is extremely knowledgeable, and it’s always a lot of fun to talk AFC East with him.

We will talk about the Jets’ opening loss to Carolina. Mike also takes us through the situation in New England, from Mac Jones’ debut to the rest of the offense to the strengths and weaknesses of the defense. It is also interesting to get Mike’s perspective on goals for this season in New England.
