Now we’ve put the disappointment of an opening day defeat behind us, it’s time to look forward to the home opener against the New England Patriots this weekend.
There were a lot of positives from Sunday, the defensive backs played well, Zach looked comfortable, Corey Davis was everything advertised. But there were also some big negatives, most notably the offensive line and our pass blocking in general (looking at you TE’s and RB’s).
There is some good news on the injury report however, with Keelan Cole listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, he’s expected to make a push for Sunday. Saleh also confirmed that Jamison Crowder was due to test out of the COVID protocol yesterday and rejoin the team today, giving him a great chance of being active on Sunday.
Jet Injury Report:
Keelan Cole: Limited Participant
Jamien Sherwood: Did not participate
Coach Saleh did offer some updates yesterday on both Sherwood and Becton. Sherwood will miss this weekend, but the hope is that he’ll be back for week 3. Becton on the other hand is still getting a second opinion before deciding whether to have surgery or not, Saleh could not confirm a timescale for recovery due to not having a clear idea if surgery will be required or not.
