Today teams can begin signing players to their practice squads.
Players with less than four years of experience who were cut yesterday first needed to get through waivers. If no other team claimed them, these players become eligible to sign on the practice squad. Veteran players with at least four years of experience are also free to sign onto practice squads.
You will likely see familiar faces from preseason sign over the next few days onto the Jets practice squad. It is worth noting that any free agent may sign on the Jets practice squad. That includes players who spent the preseason with other teams but were cut. Conversely, players the Jets cut after the preseason can sign with the practice squads of other teams.
The GGN Twitter widget would never end up on the practice squad. It would be a lock to make any roster, but it is embedded below to provide updates on Jets practice squad signings.
