The preseason is set to begin in a few days. There is always a lot of hype around these games. That’s easy enough to understand. It has been months since fans have seen an actual football game. The actual product rarely matches the level of hype, however.
Through the years I have changed my views on preseason. I used to think it was entirely useless. Now I think it is just mostly useless. There are a few things worth paying attention to. Many of them are not the things people will actually focus on. Zach Wilson’s performance won’t be worth overreacting to one way or the other, but there are some things that could have significance for the Jets.
On today’s podcast I tell you what I think they are and discuss how I watch preseason games.
