The Jets are back at practice today as training camp continues from the team facility in Florham Park, New Jersey.
The team had Friday and Sunday off between Saturday night’s Green and White Scrimmage Practice at MetLife Stadium. By most accounts, that practice did not go well for rookie quarterback Zach Wilson who threw a couple of interceptions.
Anything Wilson does is going to generate a lot of attention. Sometimes that attention will be justified. Sometimes it will not. Personally I would put training camp interceptions into the “not” category. I can’t think of many rookie quarterbacks whose careers were doomed by interceptions in their rookie training camp.
The first preseason game is now just a few days away. The Jets will spend this week getting ready for it.
