The Jets are back on the practice field today as training camp continues from the team facility in Florham Park, New Jersey. Things are scheduled to get underway at 10:20 am Eastern.
Today will be the first padded practice of training camp. The Collective Bargaining Agreement places restrictions on practices where the players wear pads. These padded practices aren’t as common as they were in the past. Perhaps this places a premium on what happens today for position and roster battles. Perhaps it doesn’t. It probably depends on the specifics of these battles and the coaching staff. I am sure there will be plenty of takeaways from the events of this practice, however.
