Tonight is the preseason finale for the New York Jets.

As they do every year, the Jets will conclude their preseason against the Philadelphia Eagles. The game this year comes with a bit of a twist. Normally this is the Backup Bowl. The two teams in the past have seldom played their starters much if at all. Those were in the days of four preseason games.

This year teams across the league are adjusting since there is one less game in the preseason. Robert Saleh has said the Jets starters will get some action in the final tune up before the beginning of the 2021 regular season.

On today’s podcast I discuss some of the key things to watch in tonight’s game, including position battles, the last few roster spots, and of course Zach Wilson.

Thanks as always for tuning in to the show. You can subscribe to Locked on Jets where podcasts are found.
