The Jets and Packers return to the practice field today for their second and final joint practice before this weekend’s preseason game between the teams. Things are scheduled to get underway at 11:25 am Eastern from the Packers’ practice facility.
This is the Jets’ first series of joint practices since 2018 when they practiced with Washington ahead of a preseason game. They won’t have to wait long for the next. The Jets and Eagles will practice jointly ahead of the preseason finale.
At this time of year you sometimes hear players talk about how frustrating it gets to compete only against your teammates for weeks. The joint practices help to break up this monotony. These practices also give the Jets a chance to measure themselves against a team that was one of last year’s final four.
