The Jets have proven once and for all that they are the greatest football team in New York.
Well maybe not but they did beat the Giants 12-7 on Saturday night at MetLife Stadium. On today’s podcast we relive this glorious victory.
The game was the preseason debut of Zach Wilson. The rookie quarterback did his job effectively, completing 6 of 9 passes for 63. It seemed like the Jets kept things relatively simple to help Wilson have a successful first game. It will be interesting to see how much the offense opens up in the weeks ahead.
I also discuss players who stood out to me in a good way, particularly CJ Mosley, Denzel Mims, and Vyncint Smith.
The game was not all good, however. There were some players who struggled, namely the backup quarterbacks. All this and more is discussed on the show.
Thanks as always for listening to the podcast.
