The Jets open the preseason tonight against the New York Giants. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 pm Eastern from MetLife Stadium.
The game will be televised on WNBC 4 in New York, WNYT 13 in Albany, WSTM 3 in Syracuse, WFXV 33 in Utica, WICZ 40 in Binghamton, WETM 18 in Elmira, WWTI 50 in Watertown, WTIC 61 in Hartford, and WFFF 44 in Burlington (VT).
Bob Papa, Carl Banks, and Howard Cross will call the game. You should note these are Giants announcers doing the Giants’ TV broadcast. The Jets are not putting a broadcast of the game on the air. Typically in Jets-Giants preseason games, only the home team puts on a TV broadcast. That team is the Giants tonight.
If you live within the New York area, you will also be able to stream the game on the Jets official app and NewYorkJets.com.
For those who live outside the regions with a network showing the game, your options are far more limited. The NFL sells subscriptions to NFL GamePass, which allows you to watch out of market preseason games live. It also allows you to rewatch regular season and postseason games after their completion. It is very pricey, however, at $100. You do get a 7 day free trial where you can cancel and get your money back.
NFL Network will replay the game at 10:00 am Sunday morning in case you miss it.
