New York Jets Flight Connections 7/28/21

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Jets training camp has officially started, and Zach Wilson is still not present. Wilson and the Jets are apparently having issues over some language in Wilson’s rookie contract. This is the part about sports I hate the most, if I’m being honest. Wilson may end up missing valuable reps that he needs as a rookie quarterback, for what will amount to very little money overall (for him). If I’m Joe Douglas, I would probably just concede to make sure the person I selected second overall was there and ready for training camp. It seems like an important person who would need to be there, but what do I know. The only hope is that it ends up being squared away and Wilson arrives before we know it.
