New York Jets Flight Connections 7/10/21

NFL: New York Jets OTA John Jones-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! With training camp looming at the end of this month, thoughts turn to who may make the 53 man roster. In the recent past, the problem has been that not only are the guys cut not NFL quality players, but also an alarming number of players making the team have no business suiting up on Sundays. This year has the potential to be a bit different. It’s possible useful NFL players could be cut before opening day. We’ll see how things play out, but whatever year the Jets actually start cutting guys who can provide substantial help to other teams, we’ll know the rebuilding phase is done and the contending phase has begun.

Will the Jets cut any players this year who are good enough to get substantial playing time elsewhere in the NFL?
