Jets Mailbag: How Should the Jets Build Their Roster?

Today we have a podcast mailbag. Recently you might have noticed that my writing and podcast schedules have slowed down considerably. This is in part due to travels and in part due to just taking some downtime to rest and recharge for the season ahead during this quiet time in the NFL calendar. I appreciate you bearing with me.

Today we discuss whether it is better for the Jets to rely on veterans or untested young players at key positions, whether teams should focus on building one side of the ball at a time or take a more balanced approach, how easy making a position switch really is, why Pete Carroll failed in his early stints as an NFL head coach, and why the Jets did not trade up for a highly regarded linebacker in the NFL Draft.

Thanks for the questions, and thanks for listening. You can subscribe to Locked on Jets where podcasts are found.
