Good morning, Gang Green Nation! Second year left tackle Mekhi Becton is missing from OTAs, and it seems a case of plantar fasciitis is to blame. While this particular injury is not likely to require surgery, foot problems for a man as big as Becton can become a lingering issue which might not keep him out of the lineup, but could hamper him for an extended period of time. After a rookie season marked by multiple injuries, this latest for Becton is unwelcome news. Let’s hope the Jets talented left tackle does not begin to earn an injury prone reputation.
