The Jets take the field for the start of their minicamp today. This is the conclusion of the offseason program. The next time the Jets will be on the practice field after this week will be for training camp.
Unlike most of the offseason program, minicamp is mandatory. Because of this people tend to put more focus on it than earlier stages of the offseason program. Personally I am skeptical of how much minicamp matters. These are practices, and practice results are seldom significant. Still I know people want any Jets news they can get, especially at a time of year where there isn’t a lot to talk about.
