New York Jets Flight Connections 5/4/21

Good morning GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The Jets have brought in a number of undrafted free agents, but two stick out more than the rest due to how much the team is paying them. These players are Kenny Yeboah, Elijah Moore’s teammate from Ole Miss, and Oregon State CB Isaiah Dunn. Dunn’s contract specifically was the most money ever given to an UDFA cornerback. Both of these players come into positions needing plenty of help, and if they excel could find themselves in a starting role in no time. On the tight end spectrum, Chris Herndon has been fairly disappointing in his time with the team, and the rest of the position group doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. Meanwhile at cornerback, there’s been a couple of young players who have flashed potential, but that entire group is wide open for starting spots. It’ll be interesting to see if the team addresses either position prior to camp starting, and something I’ll be keeping an eye on. With that, here are your links to the team today.
