New York Jets Flight Connections 5/30/21

NFL: New York Jets OTA John Jones-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! Former Jets running back Le’Veon Bell is ripping the Jets for derailing his career. While it’s hard to argue Adam Gase’s terrible offensive schemes helped anyone on the wretched Jets offense this past couple of years, it is worth noting that even after Bell landed on the best, most innovative offense in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs, Bell continued to struggle. So while it’s always fun to do a little Gase bashing, Le’Veon Bell would be wise to do a little self evaluation. Regardless of the Gase effect, Le’Veon Bell had a huge workload in Pittsburgh, and his body paid the price. He is no longer close to the same player he was with the Steelers, and no amount of Gase and Jets bashing will change that.
