On today’s podcast we discuss the 2021 NFL Draft for the New York Jets.
The Jets drafted ten players over the three days. The first four picks were offense and were players who could see immediate playing time. The team’s two first round picks were used on quarterback Zach Wilson and offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker. In the second round the team selected wide receiver Elijah Moore. In the fourth round the pick was running back Michael Carter. The Jets then made three picks each in rounds five and six. Five of them were on defensive backs (although some of them project to a linebacker role in Robert Saleh’s defense).
On today’s show I talk about the class of 2021. We might remember this Draft as the one where the Jets remade their offense. Maybe they will even get lucky with a late round pick or two.
Thanks as always for listening to the podcast.
