New York Jets Flight Connections 5/26/21

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. With Julio Jones being shopped by the Atlanta Falcons, some have suggested that the Jets should go after the future Hall of Famer. While I think it would personally be awesome for the Jets to go after one of my favorite players, I don’t think it should happen (and never thought there was a real possibility of it happening, either). For starters, at this point in Julio’s career, he wants to go to a contender. Quite frankly, the Jets are still at least another year away from at least being in the position to become a contender in the NFL landscape. On top of that, the Jets were never linked to being interested prior to the draft when rumors were swirling, and the team already has dedicated a lot of capital to WR’s currently on the roster; adding Julio wouldn’t benefit either side. Hopefully one of the younger pass-catchers on the roster can elevate to a Julio-like performance for a few years. With that, here are your links to the team today.
