New York Jets Flight Connections 5/21/21

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. While the team has seemingly covered up many of the holes on offense, one position is still a huge question - tight end. Chris Herndon will presumably go into camp as the starter but he will have plenty of competition. Ryan Griffin, Daniel Brown, former Bengals TE Tyler Kroft, and newly signed UDFA Kenny Yeboah will all be fighting for reps. It’s not a complete given that Herndon will walk out of camp as the starter, either. Even though Herndon’s shown some promising flashes, he’s looked more like a person that isn’t able to contribute full-time at the position. Perhaps with a new coach and scheme he’s able to turn it around, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see someone else take the reins either.
