New York Jets Flight Connections 5/20/21

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Before Zach Wilson was selected second overall by the New York Jets, there were questions about his character and leadership for some absurd reasons. So far with in his time with the Jets, he’s shown that he’s capable of handling leadership abilities despite being a rookie. We’ve already seen his relationship on good terms with both Elijah Moore and RB Michael Carter, but a recent social media post has shown Zach Wilson sitting alongside the rest of the Jets rookie class, building a rapport with the other members of the team. Obviously, nearly all of this means nothing in the grand scheme, and the questions regarding Wilson’s leadership skills were always overblown anyway; but it’s still nice to see happen from the outside looking in. As a fan, the biggest concern many of us have is things looking ‘off’, then translating on the field as well. Hopefully it all goes swimmingly for the rookie.
