New York Jets Flight Connections 5/12/21

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson said that he wants to earn the starting job, but by looking at the depth chart, it was a given already. Outside of Wilson there’s only two quarterbacks on the roster: James Morgan and Mike White. Backup quarterback has become an important need for the Jets roster. No disrespect to either Morgan or White, but it would help Wilson tremendously to have a backup quarterback with plenty of experience under his belt. Unfortunately for the Jets, there really isn’t any option like that available on free agency. There’s also not many names that would inspire more hope than Morgan or White if Wilson were to go down for whatever reason. While the future looks hopeful for New York, everything now hinges on Zach Wilson, whether it’s fair or not. With that, here are your links to the team today.
