The NFL Draft is over, but the Jets are not finished adding rookies. What comes next is undrafted free agency, sometimes unofficially referred to as Round 8 of the Draft.
Once the final pick is made, teams are allowed to sign players who went undrafted. Few of the players signed as undrafted free agents will make a regular season roster, but there are always a handful of players each year who defy the odds and make an impact in the league.
Below is embedded the GGN Twitter widget to provide live updates of undrafted free agency for the Jets. The widget itself is not an undrafted free agent, far from it. If the widget was in the NFL Draft teams wouldn’t trade up to pick number one. They would try to trade up to pick number zero to pick the widget. Enjoy it as it takes us through the evening with updates.
