The New York Jets have selected cornerback Jason Pinnock out of Pittsburgh with the 175th overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Jason Pinnock is a 6’ 0”, 200 pound cornerback. Pinnock played four years at Pittsburgh, where he amassed 54 tackles, 6 interceptions and 19 passes defended in 30 games. Pinnock has good size and strength for the position and is an aggressive, physical cornerback with good speed and great ball skills who will battle, but he lacks top end closing burst. With Pinnock joining Michael Carter II in the Jets secondary, the Jets continue to add to the cornerback position in the later rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft.
With this selection the Jets now have the following remaining picks in the 2021 NFL Draft:
Sixth Round: Pick #186, Pick 200 and Pick #207
