2021 NFL Draft Results: Jets Select Jamien Sherwood With 146th Overall Pick

The New York Jets have selected safety Jamien Sherwood out of Auburn with the 146th overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Jamien Sherwood is a 6’ 2”, 220 pound safety who has the size to possibly shift to cover linebacker in the NFL. Sherwood played three years at Auburn, where he amassed a total of 140 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and 10 passes defended. With the addition of Sherwood the Jets have added safeties to the mix in back to back drafts.

With this selection the Jets now have the following remaining picks in the 2021 NFL Draft:

Fifth Round: Pick #154 and Pick #162

Sixth Round: Pick #186, Pick 200 and Pick #226
