Jets Podcast: Looking at the Offense Position by Position

On today’s podcast we take our periodic inventory of where things stand for the Jets on offense. We go position by position.

We have entered what I refer to as the second phase of the offseason. The period prior to free agency is full of anticipation. Once the Draft is completed, the roster is essentially set for the upcoming season. We are in the middle phase. While there are still a few free agents out there who can help a team, the bulk of the players are off the board. Most of the remaining improvements will come through the upcoming Draft.

The offense still needs plenty of work, but the unit seems appreciably improved. You also might have a healthy dose of optimism from the idea of a new coaching staff helping to improve the performances of some players like I am feeling today.
