2021 NFL Draft Results: Jets Select Alijah Vera-Tucker With 14th Overall Pick

The New York Jets have selected offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker out of USC with the 14th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Alijah Vera-Tucker is a 6’ 5”, 310 pound offensive tackle who may move to guard in the NFL. He is effective at blocking targets in space. He excels in pass protection and is solid in run blocking.

With the pick of Vera-Tucker the Jets get a young offensive lineman to help protect their new quarterback, Zach Wilson. Jets GM Joe Douglas continues to build the team from the trenches.
