New York Jets Flight Connections 4/27/21

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. As we get closer to the draft, any and everything to come out for the Jets has been involving BYU quarterback Zach Wilson. But what if the team decides to go another route? Justin Fields is a player who has fallen down draft boards for some unknown reason, while his film and advanced metrics all prove to be absolutely elite. What would happen if Fields ends up being the selection over Wilson? Would Jets fans be irate, or would they be happier knowing they had a more complete prospect as their new starting quarterback? Personally, I’m not a fan of 1-year wonder quarterbacks being selected so high, with so much confidence. I’m in the Fields boat, with hope that Wilson does well if selected. No matter where you land on the spectrum of fans, it should align somewhat with that thought process too. It’ll be interesting to see how the draft unfolds only a couple of days away.
