New York Jets Flight Connections 4/23/21

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Head coach Robert Saleh and GM Joe Douglas spoke with reporters yesterday in their pre-draft press conference. In what is becoming typical of this regime, there was a lot of ‘no news’ being said by both parties. Saleh stated that he has no pressure building around a rookie QB, and he shouldn’t. Having a rookie essentially signifies at least a three year leash, unless he has an unfathomably bad track record with the team. Hopefully that doesn’t end up being the case. In regards to Douglas, in typical fashion, not much of substance was said by the Jets GM. This is nothing really new considering his tenure so far, so it will be interesting to see the route he goes in this year’s draft. He has a lot of options at the #23 position, but after that is where folks make their money, and find diamonds in the rough. Hopefully Douglas is able to do so this year. With that, here are your links to the team to start your morning.
