New York Jets Flight Connections 4/2/21

The Jets once again were the subject of rumors as embattled quarterback Sam Darnold was shown to be the featured player on the team’s 2021 ticket information on the official site. It’s been a whirlwind of an off-season for the young QB, as all things are starting to point towards BYU’s Zach Wilson replacing him. Per Oddschecker (and from our own Kyle Newman), Wilson is nearly an 89% lock to be the team’s selection with the 2nd overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft. As Newman points out though, when the team has been rumored to do something, it’s been wrong; as Joe Douglas and the Jets have kept things surprisingly under wraps for the majority of his tenure thus far. It’s an interesting development to keep an eye on, as the later it goes without moving Sam Darnold, the more likely he ends up as the 2021 starting quarterback of the New York Jets.
