Free agency is scheduled to begin next week in the NFL. The Jets will finally get a chance to upgrade their roster.
We have been waiting for this moment for a few months. It feels like a long time since the Jets left the field in Foxborough after closing the 2020 season with their 14th loss. Of course the season was really over long before that. It feels like we have been looking forward to this offseason since at least September.
On today’s podcast I offer some thoughts about players who would be at the top of my list of free agents if I was advising the Jets. Of course the team will need to monitor opportunities and perhaps change course if certain opportunities present themselves. Some of these players might ultimately be too expensive and not worth signing. This is just my starting point for 2021.
