New York Jets Flight Connections 3/27/21

New York Jets

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! The Miami Dolphins shook up the 2021 NFL draft yesterday, trading down to #12 with the San Francisco 49ers, then trading back up to #6 with the Philadelphia Eagles. It is now fairly certain that the #1 and #3 overall picks will be quarterbacks. Many think it is also all but certain the Jets will take a quarterback at #2. If that happens it will be a rare NFL draft where quarterbacks were the first three selections. If the #4 pick is also a quarterback, that would mark the first time in NFL history the first four picks in the draft were all quarterbacks.

As for whom the Jets might take, Zach Wilson had his pro day yesterday and the Jets top brass were there to see it. Much of the media believes it is a foregone conclusion the Jets will take Wilson, but considering the media’s abysmal track record at predicting Jets moves under the Joe Douglas regime, I would take any rumors with a large grain of salt.
