Sunday saw the Jets add defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins.
Rankins was a 2016 first round pick by the New Orleans Saints. The last two years he has dealt with the lingering effects of an Achilles injury suffered in a 2018 Playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles along with other ailments. At the time of the injury against Philadelphia Rankins looked like a rising impact player. If he can find his old form, the signing will end up working out really well for the Jets.
What else will happen? As free agency begins its second week, the pace of things is slowing down. We still might see some action from the Jets. Is Monday the day they finally make an attempt to address cornerback?
